The IDA and the Chamber share the Center for Commerce Building, located on the north side of Walnut Street between 1st and 2nd Streets. Our building is across 1st Street from Gadsden’s city hall, and across Walnut Street from the YMCA.

Driving directions from:

Anniston: Travel north on U.S. 431. Upon crossing the Coosa River, take the first left, (2nd Street) and continue across Locust, Broad and Chestnut streets. Just before reaching the next traffic light (Walnut Street) turn left into the parking lot of the IDA/Chamber building.

Birmingham: Travel north on I-59. After about 55 miles, merge onto I-759, at exit 182. Then take the U.S. 411 North exit (4-B). Follow U.S. 411; the Coosa River will be on the right. Just before reaching the bridges crossing the highway and adjacent river, turn left onto Walnut Street. Go one block; the IDA/Chamber building will be on the right, between 1st and 2nd Streets.

Chattanooga: Travel south on I-59. After about 90 miles, merge onto I-759, at exit 182. Then take the U.S. 411 North exit (4-B). Follow U.S. 411; the Coosa River will be on the right. Just before reaching the bridges crossing the highway and adjacent river, turn left onto Walnut Street. Go one block; the IDA/Chamber building will be on the right, between 1st and 2nd Streets.

Cullman: Take U.S. 278 East to U.S. 431 South. Turn right and follow U.S. 431 to I-59. Turn right onto I-59 South. Take the next exit (182) and merge onto I-759. Then take the U.S. 411 North exit (4-B). Follow U.S. 411; the Coosa River will be on the right. Just before reaching the bridges crossing the highway and adjacent river, turn left onto Walnut Street. Go one block; the IDA/Chamber building will be on the right, between 1st and 2nd Streets.

Huntsville: Take U.S. 431 South to I-59. Turn right onto I-59 South. Take the next exit (182) and merge onto I-759. Then take the U.S. 411 North exit (4-B). Follow U.S. 411; the Coosa River will be on the right. Just before reaching the bridges crossing the highway and adjacent river, turn left onto Walnut Street. Go one block; the IDA/Chamber building will be on the right, between 1st and 2nd Streets.

Lincoln: Take Alabama Highway 77 North, through Southside to Rainbow City. After crossing the Coosa River, turn right onto U.S. 411 and proceed north, going under I-759. (The Colonial Gadsden Mall will be on the left and the Coosa River on the right.) Continue on U.S. 411; just before reaching the bridges crossing the highway and adjacent river, turn left onto Walnut Street. Go one block; the IDA/Chamber building will be on the right, between 1st and 2nd Streets.
